"Days Off"

In business ownership, especially being a parent besides, there are no more of the typical "days off" like before when I was just an employee. Now, I'm having to try and learn more about Business as well as learn new or better ways to improve in my craft. Matter of fact, a whole day can be spent working on estimates because not all jobs of the same setting are the same. For one person who wants their generator plug on the Inside of the house by the panel, the next could want theirs on the outside on brick but the meter could interfere. Once again, I am Very grateful to my journeymen who truly took me under their wing to teach me skills that are so beneficial to me now. Adaptability is key. So with that adaptability comes juggling parenthood too. Definitely no days off there but I'd have it no other way. All I can do is my best. Some days I feel I'm on top of the mountain. Others I feel the mountain is on top of me. Still, even as little as 5 months ago, I've grown Leaps and bounds from when I started getting one person asking if I could come visit. Now, I'm beginning to have a few a week have me come by to see their potential work or they ask me questions about certain tasks. It's good to be needed! So to meet those needs, I'm going to constantly vie to improve myself. Until then, I also need Rest. Can't eliminate electrical evil with sandbags under the eyes.
